Fa.De relies on the support of a multidisciplinary team that is composed of professionals with different specializations in the field of neurodevelopmental disorders. These professionals work together to provide comprehensive and individualized care to children and families who seek services at Fa.De
WHAT WE DO
At Fa.De, the multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to evaluate and assess the functional development of each child, including their functional skills, areas of performance, and social skills. This evaluation is essential to develop a personalized intervention plan that takes into account the child's individual needs and strengths.
The intervention plan is designed based on a comprehensive evaluation of the child's development, and it considers the relationship between the child and their caregivers. The plan is designed to be individualized, meaning that it's tailored to meet the specific needs of the child, and it takes into account their unique challenges and strengths.
The intervention plan may include a range of therapeutic strategies and activities that are designed to improve the child's functional abilities, including communication, socialization, self-care, and cognitive skills. The team may use different therapeutic models, including DIR Floortime®, ABA, and Mindfulness, to help the child reach their full potential.
Throughout the intervention process, the team regularly assesses the child's progress and modifies the intervention plan as needed to ensure that it continues to meet their evolving needs. This individualized approach to intervention helps to promote positive outcomes for children and families who seek services at Fa.De.
Fa.De SUPPORTS IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
NeuroDevelopmental disorders and disabilities such as learning disabilities (dyslexia, dysorthography, dysgraphia, dyscalculia), emotional disorders, anxiety disorders, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorders (ADHD), oppositional defiant disorder, autism spectrum disorders, coordination disorders motor skills, intellectual disabilities, speech and language disorders, disability prevention and mental health awareness.
The Fa.De team uses the following models: DIR Floortime®, ABA and Mindfulness. DIR Floortime® is a developmental approach that focuses on engaging children in play to help them reach their developmental milestones. ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) is a therapy that uses positive reinforcement to teach new skills and reduce unwanted behaviors. Mindfulness is a practice that helps individuals develop awareness of the present moment, reducing stress and promoting emotional well-being.
Fa.De SERVICES:
Psychology, Speech and Language therapy, Occupational Therapy, Neuropsychological cognitive enhancement, support for parents, relational emotional support, interaction with siblings and peers, executive and communication function training, Aquatic therapy and Hippotherapy.
The interventions are personalized individual sessions or group sessions, in order to improve different areas of children's development. The aim is to promote psycho-physical well-being and independence in daily life for individuals who experience various neurodevelopmental challenges or mental health concerns.
